That’s why we’re proud to provide CareerShift as a FREE service to everyone at Laurus College that can help bring structure and clarity to the jobsearch.
So why is CareerShift so important? The set of tools and applications offered by CareerShift provide a very unique opportunity to Laurus College students and graduates. It offers the most complete and comprehensive online resources, designed to support the number one request of job seekers: an easy to use website to conduct and organize their job search. While other web services and job boards provide bits and pieces of the jobsearch process, only CareerShift provides an easy-to-use approach for bringing all these parts together to do 2 things: 1) Crack the “hidden job market” and 2) Manage the jobsearch with one comprehensive website. There are many integrated tools within CareerShift that are all very easy to navigate.
With CareerShift, you can:
Search for and save an unlimited number of job listings from public and private websites, employer websites, newspapers and job boards – basically, anything with a web link!
Create emailed job alerts from your saved searches and choose how often to receive them (either twice daily, daily or weekly).
Access inside contact information immediately, including the names and direct phone numbers and email addresses for millions of employer staff and personnel. You can save and manage your contact lists.
Choose to either upload or copy and paste as many targeted resumes and cover letters (or any other documents) as you want.
Work with Career Services to create unlimited email campaigns using your saved contacts, resumes and cover letters.
Campaigns are automatically saved and recorded. You can keep notes and set follow up reminders in the “My Calendar” tab.
Access your confidential CareerShift account from anywhere, anytime, 24/7.
>Lastly, a newly added feature now allows users to connect their LinkedIn account with CareerShift in order to gain insights on contacts and companies in and outside of their LinkedIn network. Attach your LinkedIn profile to your CareerShift account right from the “My Organizer” page!
Register here to access all CareerShift services and resources for free. All you need is an active Laurus College email address. If you are a past graduate and your Laurus College email address is inactive, contact the Career Services Department for reactivation. Career Services also provides an introductory workshop on WebEx called “CareerShift 101”, which is usually held during Week 2 of each term.
