Laurus College Blog – Winners from the Printober: 3D Printing Contest!

Winners from the Printober: 3D Printing Contest!

by the 3D Animation Department

The winning designs from last October’s “Printober: 3D Printing Contest” have been selected! All of the submissions were fantastic and made it very hard for the voting committee to decide on a winner. Thank you to all of the Laurus College students and recent graduates who participated.

To recap, students from each of our programs were eligible to submit a design for this competition. Those who entered were required to create an original model or sculpt of a Jack-O-Lantern in the spirit of the Halloween season.

Congratulations to each of the three winners, Alex Turner, John Hart, and Paul Macias, who are all current students in our Digital Arts & Computer Animation program. They’ll be receiving a custom 3-D Print of their own model as a prize for participating in the “Printober: 3D Printing Contest.”

More contests will be sure to come later on this year. As always, all contests will be posted in the My Laurus Portal (http://dev1.lauruscollege.edu/mylaurus/).
